Project Description
Nestled beneath the eastern flanks of Greece's Parnitha mountain, Lake Villa is a tranquil holiday home situated in the Hippocratic State area. Its contemporary design aims to blend seamlessly with the existing urban fabric and surrounding environment. From the outside, the villa’s façade is adorned with open spaces that allow maximum sun contact while providing unobstructed views of the landscape. Meanwhile, air is able to easily circulate through the patio and the more intimate living spaces.
The villa’s defining feature is its two axes of circulation – the vertical circulation, which leads to the lake, and the horizontal circulation, which connects the public and private spaces. This distinctive feature not only creates an aesthetically pleasing space, but also divides the interior and exterior areas, allowing guests to maintain a sense of privacy while still enjoying the nearby lake and its picturesque surroundings. The villa’s design philosophy is one of harmony, providing a perfect balance between modern amenities and the natural beauty of the landscape.
